This is one of the most important of Lenin's writings, written in 1920 in the early period of the Communist International, to combat ultra-left and sectarian ideas which affected a layer of inexperienced young communists radicalised by the Russian Revolution. It answers questions such as should Marxists work in reactionary trade unions, participate in bourgeois parliaments, and how Marxists can win majority support in the working class.
